This Privacy Policy explains how Loan Sathi collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our services. Loan Sathi is a loan facilitator — not a lender, bank or NBFC, and not registered with the RBI. We help you apply for and find suitable loan options from RBI-registered lending partners, who make all lending decisions.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact details: your name, email (and any alternate email), and mobile number (and any alternate mobile number).
- Identity details such as your PAN and date of birth.
- Address details: your current and permanent address, city and pincode.
- Employment and income details you provide as part of your loan enquiry.
- Two reference contacts (name and mobile number) that you provide.
- Your approximate device location, captured only with your browser's permission when you apply.
- Documents you choose to upload, such as bank statements, address proof, utility bills and your PAN card.
- We do not currently collect or store your Aadhaar.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To assess your enquiry and connect you with suitable RBI-registered lending partners.
- To contact you about your application and provide support.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and KYC obligations.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- We share your details only with lending partners relevant to your enquiry, with your consent.
- We do not sell your personal data. Data is stored on servers located in India.
4. Data Security
- Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and access is restricted to authorised staff.
- We do not currently collect or verify Aadhaar. If Aadhaar-based verification is introduced later, it will use consent-based methods and follow applicable law.
- You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
